Selecting Objects

In Edit mode, to configure the properties of an object, move it, resize it, or delete it you must first select it. There are many methods you can use to select an object on TheView. When a single object is selected its handles are green. When multiple objects are selected, one object will have green handles, the others have cyan handles. The object with green handles is the Primary Object.

Selecting an Object

1. Click on the object.
2. Click the Properties option on the Layout menu. Select the object from the Object List.
3. Lasso the object using the mouse. The drag area must be completely outside of the boundary of the object.

Selecting Multiple Objects

1. Click on the first object. Hold down the Shift key when clicking on subsequent objects.
2. Lasso the objects using the mouse. The drag area must be completely outside of the boundary of all of the objects.
